Beau first became interested in pizza just as the rest of us do. When he was just a boy he enjoyed eating Papa Gino’s with his family. In 2011, his now-wife Maddie came home from Italy raving about the pizzas in Napoli, so he decided to try to reproduce a Neapolitan pizza. It came out well, but he wasn’t satisfied. He went on to learn from his mother-in-law the basics of making great dough, sauce and what combinations of cheese were best. From there, his pizza skills flourished and in 2017 he started an Instagram then called “ThePizzaGram”, which is now known as @RayStreetPizza.
Beau continues to invite people over for pizza constantly and his pizza dreams have since grown. Eventually, he’d like to open a gourmet pizza restaurant but for now, he will keep making pizza for events and partnering with Maddie and Collectus Culina to grow the Ray Street Pizza brand.
